Mansang, sometimes known as Mansong or Munsong, is a tiny hamlet located around 20 kilometres from Kalimpong district in West Bengal state. The settlement is a little attractive hamlet and the headquarters of the Munsong cinchona plantation, located at an elevation of 5000 feet. The Kanchenjunga range, as well as the Sikkim highlands, can be seen from the settlement. From Munsong Basera Farm Stay, you may get a good view of the Teesta River.

Connected By road: Siliguri approx (95 km), New Jalpaiguri or NJP approx (95 km )
Nearest airport: Bagdogra ( 100 km)
Munsong is accessible from either Kalimpong or Rangpo. The mileage from NJP is roughly identical on both routes, at around 95 kilometres.
The Rangpo route is speedier since it avoids the congested Kalimpong town and its congested roadways. If you're coming from Rangpo, travel the steep uphill route for approximately a kilometre before reaching the Bengal-Sikkim border river bridge.
The uphill route travels through stunning natural woods and tiny settlements on its way to Munsong, which takes around half an hour.
Driving via Kalimpong is another alternative.
You may drive to Deolo top and then by Bhalu marg to Icheygaon. Munsong may be reached by using the same route downwards a few kilometres ahead.
