Narasimha Temple

A popular attraction at Susunia Hills is the Narasimha Temple. In the foothills, there is an open temple will see "Narasimha." The stone idol is unlike any other Hindu goddess in appearance. The Santhals, Kols, Munda, and Vils were between the tribal people who worshipped Narasimha, and it looks like their points of view were reflected in the idol's creation.

Dhara

The Dhara, which is close to the Narashimha Temple and appears spring water that comes from a stone spout with suggested medicinal benefits, is another enigmatic aspect of this location. Susunia Lipi

There is also historical significance to the Susunia hills. Visitors to Susunia will see what is thought to be the "oldest" rock inscription in the state of West Bengal. Although there is no trace of Raja Chandravarman's fort here, chronological views claim that he built it here. In the location known as Pushkarana, there are rock inscriptions dating back to the fourth century AD. Chandravarman's empire's capital was Pushkarana, also known as Pakhanna. Many believe that Raja was killed in retaliation for a fight with Chandra Gupta Maurya. The inscription is secured by ASI. The two-part ancient rock inscription features a significant "Chakra," or wheel, with sharp edges. The first part pointed to that the writing is the work of Raja Chandravarman and the second one states that the community of Choshagrama was transferred to Chakrasvamin. Susunia lipi is one of the top places to visit from our associated resorts
