BY TRAIN: Digha (station code:DGHA) is well-connected to Kolkata. Trains may be reached from Howrah Station. Tamralipta Express departs Howrah at 6.40 p.m. and arrives in Digha at 10 p.m. Kandari Express departs Howrah at 14.15 hrs and arrives in Digha at 17.50 hrs. The Howrah Digha Duronta Exp departs at 11.15 hrs and arrives at 14.15 hrs/n BY BUS: Chartered buses (air-conditioned and with luggage space) take approximately 4 and a half hours to reach Digha. Buses depart regularly from Shahid Minar in Dharmatala, Kolkata, and the Howrah Bus Terminus in Kolkata. There are also state buses (non-air-conditioned with limited luggage space) that depart from the same terminals.
